depending on how bad it is, you may still get away with just painting, of it not a light sanding down.
They usualy have to sand them down anyway dont they before they spray them dont they?

True, may need a tiny bit of filler but we are talking a tiny amount!
i was thinking of using touch up paint that i have for alloys and just sanded it down myself jsut for the time being to make it less noticable (to me).
Will practise on my old alloys first this weekend.
