I wasn't implying anything, it was just a joke obviously. Even if you had been poked in the ear, I have nothing againt homosexuals, as long as they are consenting adults, they are free to do what they like (behind closed doors though please !!).
I just don't understand the association between ear ache and gay. Maybe i'm too old and have lost touch with the word on the street (most likely scenario).

1. ghey
a derivation of gay meaning lame. meant to be non-offensive to individuals of a homosexual persuasion.
"That coffee cup is broken. How ghey."
2. ghey
When something annoys you without being a bummer. Like if I call my computer gay I don't mean it bums my modem.
"Chris was gay. But this computer is ghey."
3. ghey
postmodern redevelopment of the word "gay" - it now implies all the formerly offensive stereotypes of uselessness / weakness then associated with effeminate homosexual men in 1970's sitcoms, whilst carrying with it no actual implied sexuality connotations.
My computer is being ghey.
4. Ghey. An excuse for using the term "Gay" in a negative way, without seeming to be offensive. However, changing the spelling of the word doesn't change how offensive it can still be to homosexuals.
Person1: That's ghey!
Person2: Dude, don't use that word.
Person1: But I'm spelling it g-h-e-y.
Person2: Dude, that doesn't matter, it's still offensive.
Person1: Well, that's ghey!
Person2 thwacks Person1
not so sure about number 2.....slightly controversial...
pffffttt
i use it....i dont think its offensive. Depends on how you use it i say
