Middle Lower Grille
Hey guys,
was cleaning the 9N today and found out how to remove the lower side grilles, the ones where the fogs should be, but since mines a 1.2 E...we wont go into that.
anyway, the thought of colour coding these came to mind, and i thought, i can remove these EASY, and the same for the main grille, but how do you remove the middle lower grille?
please dont tell me its attached to the bumper! well...actually, do tell me, but i wont be pleased to hear it.
many thanks

cheers man,
what do you guys think off white alloys on a black car?
http://www.alloywheels.com/product.asp? ... trSize=17"
also, im not sure if i want people seeing my drum brakes!
my friends analogy was "its like a fat person not wanting to take their clothes off, coz everyone will see that they're fat" or in this case, everyone will see i dont have discs...
opinions, they do those alloys in black aswell..

awesome mate, cheers, doesnt look as if it would be that hard.
anyone recommend getting it colour coded on a Diamond Black Polo. Will it be noticable?
and whats the deal, would i remove it and the other parts, e.g. fog-light grilles and main grille, take them to a Body Shop, and say, "Can you please spray these in Volkswagen Diamond Black?" and they would then know exactly what colour i mean, and do it!?
sorry, im a complete novice!
Cheers

You would need the paint code of your paint. It can be found on the sticker on the floor of your car's boot.LowPoloCo. wrote:awesome mate, cheers, doesnt look as if it would be that hard.

My only thought of getting it colour coded on a car that is already balck is that here are more stone chips to worry about and be seen. Granted the contrasts of two blacks isn't great but it's not that bad.
Remember mind bng fairly easy to seperate but I had the bumper off and still needed to pursuade the clips a bit.
