Spacesaver Vs 280mm discs

Post by 1 GTI »

I've just realised that my spacesaver will NOT fit over my 280mm discs on my GTI. The space saver is a 14" wheel  Just wondering if anybody has noticed this? I'll have to buy a 15" space saver now, it's all ££££££££

Yeup it won't fit however if you get punture on the front just swap a wheel from the back and put the spacesaver on the back.

If i ever had a puncture on the Front, I would NEVER put the thing on the front, Far to unstable, Always have it on the rear, Much Safer under breaking Etc !

What about getting rid of the spacesaver...and getting some of that spray stuff that you use to fill the wheel with? Save some weight also!
