exhaust diameter on mk3 polo?!

I need a reducer for my PSD system as its 63mm to fit onto my cat...quite annoyed as i really want it on! (It's tough being impatient!)

So if anyone could tell me the diameter then i know what size i need to reduce to! Its not a simple case of measuring the existing talepipe as its a little bit bigger on the backbox than the existing system.

Have you still got the factory exhaust on your car or
is it a stainless steel system?

What year is your car? If its pre 92 you can take the
cat off and it will still pass an MOT. Just a thought

Yeah its 1991...

The cat is attached to the downpipe so thats not the case...I am in the process of looking for a de-cat but im still searching. I just need to know the diameter so i can get my "cat back" system on my car! then i can sort out a de-cat afterwards.
