Can I get an induction kit for mk3 Match?
I have a 1025 MK3 polo Match. Can i get an induction kit for it? I have only had it one month. I have clear front and side indicators and 6x9's. What can I do next? And does anyone know what i should do with those stupid black holes behind the polo badge?

You can't get an induction kit for the single point injected Polos, but you can get a K&N filter which bolts onto the top of the throttle body. However, as this is located at the back of the engine bay you'll draw in a lot of hot air so it might lose you power. It'd sound nice though.
An idea for next steps, is to get hold of some half tinted rear light clusters like these.

VolksApart http://www.volkswagenspares.com/ do them for £30 each, or if you're lucky you can get them from scrappies for less. A case of early bird catches the worm though!
After this, there's all sorts you can do. There's loads of stuff about now, and plenty of inspiration. So just choose a style and go for it!

u won't loose power mate, as i've got 52bhp out of mine!! and it runs cold
with any car, if u put an air filter on ur just making it run lean, that means ur ecu needs re-mapping to give it more fuel i think u need a superchip for this.
plus it's ideal to put a performance exhaust full system on to give u noticeable power.
that's all i know! correct me if u want
hope it helps tho'

There is an option to build a induction kit in tke singlepoint injected polosKrupa wrote:You can't get an induction kit for the single point injected Polos, but you can get a K&N filter which bolts onto the top of the throttle body. I did it myself on my own 1.3L (Enginecode AAV)

This selfmade induction kit contains parts of the Golf Mk2 1.8l singlepoint injection Engine (Engine Code RP) These parts are more or less "plug&play"on the 1.0l (AAU) and 1.3l (AAV) Polo engines.
You also can use parts from the Mk3 Golf 1.8l monopoint engine (Enginecode ABS)
And I can tell you it gives a big sound improvement to a little polo engine

These pipes don't fit on the injection units due different sizes.hardhitter wrote:I think you can use the Mk 3 golf 1.4 SPI induction pipe to make your own induction kit with a universal cone filter on the end. If it fits, then the filter is located in good place.
The only parts that fit "plug&play" are the parts I mentioned in my previous post. These Golf engines use also the Bosch mono-motronic ECU
Just take the orginial unit out and replace it with the Golf Mk2 or Mk3 parts
Only one thing you need to do is it replace the golf temperature sensor, with the one that was placed in the orginal unit.

I stand corrected, I knew one of the golf induction elbows could be used.

okee it's very simple .
gk body engine ,with stronger oil pump and lightend flywheel .
compression is 11 to 1
cylinder head original was a mechanical one ,bin replaced by a cylinder head from a mh engine wich i've modified and grinded ports (inlet up to 36mm) widend the area around the spark plug inside the cylinder .
made my own inlet manifold for the honda cbrfireblade carbs 36mm
the engine is still running on a original mh camshaft ,but will be replaced by a 280 cam .exhaust manifold is original gk but i'm modifieng a 1.4 16v manifold for 8v so it becomes a good flow manifold .
put on the ignition from an aav engine and it runs on the cpu from a gk engine .it already has a 95 hp on the krank and does a 195km /h max after i'm finished it will be 200km/h minimum .
the carbs from the cbr are better than weber 40dcoe because they've got variable venturi and no gap if you put the accelerator down
