hey, i had the same sort of problem, car was jerky at lower revs, i replaced spark leads, that did the job!.... 8)

im getting the same probs look at (NEED YOUR ADVICE thread) its starting to get on me t*ts.
ive cleaned the airfilter, was a few thousand flies etc in there. was a little oil around the filter ? :?
cleaned the leads with WD and some wire wool, took the plugs out cleaned them and the sockets
put aload of Redex and then carb cleaner in the carb, does seem a bit better but will change the plugs at the weekend

as I advise everyone when i see threads like this - clean your throttle body, it appears to be the problem 99% of the time and costs like £4 for a can of carb cleaner.
