Rocking Horse Poo?

Howdy

I feel this may be a mission Impossible...
My girlfriend has set me a task, she wants a tidy 2000/2001, Phase 3 Polo, 3 door in anthracite grey. Something with a bit of oohph about it 1.4tdi PD or the like... I'm sure a black one would be alright.

Please help...

I'm In Preston, Lancashire.

yeah those grey polos are like rocking horse poo im sorry to tell you i searched for ages for one and then bought a silver one!

I thought so... i could talk her into silver or black, maybe even the metallic blue?

if its the metallic blue im thinking about then again they r hard to find that was my second choice!

you will have the best luck with silver easy to come by!

I think way_z is the only deisel i have ever seen in that graphite type grey. I personally think its the nicest colour out the lot then the dark metalic red

well mine is similiar to that
i get people saying 'have you had it resprayed!'

its Blue-anthracite pearl according to the vw garage i went to
so if its pearl then its not metallic? in direct sunlight the car paint goes a sort of rainbow colour if you look closely

o and the last time i saw one was about 3 months ago!

I think that must be the colour I have. It's a metallic grey kind of colour but has a really nice blue tint to it. definitely not the standard vw anthracite grey!

I think u'll struggle full stop to get a 3 door TDi in any colour. I was looking for one before I got my GTi, and couldnt find any that I didnt have to travel to the moon and back.

There's plenty nice looking 3 door petrols around though, bargains to be had

yup thats me with the grey polo tdi.. in a 5 door tho! i have seen other 6n2 tdi's about in black, metallic blue and and silver but not another in grey?? also seen a few of them in 3 doors too, in fact my mate has a black one though its bog standard (ie. not SE)

here u go mate, a post i put up a while ago now in pretty shabby state... excuse the poor quality pics!

a couple of minor changes since then.. red line around the grill, german plates... plus the K&N had to go due to contamination from a diesel leak

got abit of money together now so some major changes dues soon, watch this space..
