What car do your parents drive...

Post by h4r1s »

I'll start it off

My dad drives a 1984 mercedes benz 230E made in the era when no expense was spared. He loves it absolutely to bits since it hasn't ever broken down on him in the 15+ years he has owned it. Looks a bit of a mess at the moment but he wants to restore it once he has the time and money. Personally i think it's a banger , but the interior is very comfortable here are some pics

my dad drives a 53 plate audi a4, 1.9 tdi (130bhp sport) s-line. Its a lovely car to drive. although the suspension is back breaking. His partner drives an 07 mini cooper. So not too bad taste on the car front. 8)

Mum drives a 2.0L Honda CRV, and is a very nice car with a nice engine (shame it's automatic ).

Dad has a 2005 Nissan Navara Aventura 2.5L DERV as his daily driver. It's massive, but rather comfortable for a truck. Also he drives a Merc SL280 (I think) in silver. Also, has AMG Splitrims on. Another nice car, really comfortable.

Over the past, my Dad has had so many new cars, e.g. VW Touareg, numerous Toyota Landcruisers, Mercedes V-Class, Various Saab's etc. I don't think he can stick with one car at the moment

Here's a picture of both cars (ignore mine):

Suffice to say, they both like their 4X4, baby killers

Umm my parents have a Range Rover vogue SE v8, Morris Minor convertible (I learnt to drive in this :) ) and an MG Midget. They also have a rotting Morris Minor Traveller in the garden, which I'm trying to convince dad to restore with a nice engine, Rover K series or something.

There looking at replacing the Range Rover with a Passat or A4 Estate.

 Should be ok, wouldn't be doing many miles. There's always the option of taking the engine from the Range Rover and putting that in, if he decides to scrap it.

My dad has an MX5 for 'everyday' use and a Morgan for weekend/fine weather use.

My mum drives a red clio (previous shape) 1.4 I think.
