Heard a grinding noise about 2 weeks ago, front passegers side. The noise gets louder when you slow down to a stop and is louder when you turn right. This is what I have done by my local garage:- very good mechanic, he prepares rally cars.
(i) Left wheel bearing replaced
(ii) Left driveshaft bearing replaced
(iii) Gearbox fully recond - recommended by VW garage after test drive.
The noise is still there!!!!!!!!
Please have you got any ideas
