This better not be a big problem!

Post by robert.cheetham »

Today it was freezing. When i was driving the car would suddenly start shudering. (you know as if I brought clutch up too quick) I would just be driving then if I accelerated it would judder. The car has only done 52K. The oil and everything is ok. I need some reasurance that it's only because it was freezing. :?

when i put the clutch down, the idol is low n the battery light comes on, it even stalls sometimes! i think its cause the car don't get used that much and because its bloddy cold! nothing to worry about as far as i would no, does it do it when the car hasn't been running long and is still warming up?

I get that too. Always in the morning when its cold. Start the car up drive down to the end of the road go to change into first gear and the engine cuts out. It's a right bugger to start again too.
Wheres the distributer cap and the throttle body located?

 Dan
