MOT day

Post by garnier »

Best MOT of my life today, the GTi sailed it! Only one recommendation that I change a tyre that's near the limit. Well pleased for £50.

Gearbox has degraded a little more after last weekend, wast back home in Dundee last weekend, it has the UK's best roads and some great drives. There was a bit too much redline activity and now she's howling a little in 3,4 and 5 :(

Gonna try and see if I can get the warranty people to fix it before it breaks I think, Dunno what they'll say tho

I had massive readings on my emmisions......so, cost of mot, on the computer, replacement lambda, hours for labour for a crack on the cat which got welded  and a couple of other things like brake binding!

Gutted £412 to be exact! Sore one to take!!
