Nice one! 14% gain!! 17.5bhp increase!! Not bad at all! I take it this chip increase would be based on a standard GTI engine??

Yeah. I'd definately be wanting one, probably would get a new manifold and exhaust system first. Wouldn't be doing any major engine stuff in the next 2 years, will have to wait and see. 140bhp would keep me happy for the next year or so :D

17.5 bhp from a chip? Believe that and you'll believe anything

I've always thought that about chips. Cant really see the point in them unless your engine is already producing, or is capable of producing loads of power, a skyline for example.

imho, superchips just exploit a young driver's need to go faster. They cost a bomb and dont do very much at all

Having mine remapped on tuesday 8)

The polo need's a new reprogramed chip soldered in as the current one can't be adjusted so I'm guessing this is the same thing in theory.

With the new map I should be looking at around 138bhp well atleast thats what I'm hopeing as my mate had his GTi done and was running roughly 140/145 inc other engine mods

Eh......14% increase of 125bhp is not 13bhp mouse! 10% is 12.5bhp straight off! another 5 percent would see you another 6.25bhp. Thats 18.75bhp. Take off the 1% and your 17.5bhp.

just do 0.14x125 = 17.5

Bobs your uncle, where you gettin 13 from??

Scrap that....i was looking at torque! 14% increase in torque.

I think the are pretty imprssive readings for the price! Especially if you get some other wee engine mods. Full system, BMC, mianifold etc etc, you could be pushing 140/145! :D
