ah thank you for correcting my confused brain kind sir.

I thought thats what it was, but wsnt sure. Does that tubular construct on the side not go right into the manifold creating a hole then? Obviously not, as otherwise youd be losing pressure and sucking in loads of ol emmisions... back to my corner again lol.

doesn't matter m8, Jeroen is and will always be the EMPEROR of the Dutch Polo Scene, no doubt about that

Hopefully you'll have your project finished before Worthersee, then you can start to represent the Dutchies to those gay-boy Austrians

No, the mk4 is my daily driver. Not always, since I also have a mk2 standing around, for "emergencies" (driving in the winter, or when the mk4 is "under construction" or on a night to town with drunk friends in the back ;))
And don't know the exact BHP right now, but I do know that my top-speed has increased from 156km/h to 187km/h (from the speedo), not to bad I say :D and haven't even tested it with the new manifold + de-cat muffler yet! 8)
But I think the limit will bee 200km/h, since then my gearbox will make the engine reach such RPM's that the engine hits the RPM-limiter

well, no to be exact, higher revs means more heat created by the engine and more possible (small) damage to the engine. Since I don't feel like modding the cooling system too, nore like fixing all kinds of wore off parts from higher revs, I won't be changing this.

Also it helps that I don't care for top-speed, I more enjoy the time getting tot that top-speed, which should be as short as possible

u silly Belgium! No, no turbo for me, too expensive.

But am planning more on the engine, bought meself a Schrick Camshaft on Ebay, so the 3F cam (219 degrees) will be replaced by a Schrick one with 268 degrees  Valvelift is 9,8mm, which is a suppose to be a lot higher then the 3F one (dunno exact measures on that one), which increase the Torque noticable a lot

Also finally "dressed" me roofcloth (dunno english word for it  )

Image

No ripples what so ever, looks completely smooth 8)

Also did the little triangles which cover the rear of the mirrors on the inside:

It's all in the details eh?

It most certainly is indeed.

How much effort is involved in taking the roof cloth/thing off? (i dont think there is a word for that, lining maybe lol)

I should really clean mine its proper tatty. Fingermarks everywhere. Then again on an open air that might be quite the job :?

@ LeMeph: it isn't that hard, you just have to take of the pieces between the windows, then you can take it out/off, took me 30 minutes on the car-graveyard to rip it out a wreck without knowing how to do it ;)

@ Thamar: you'll probably hear that on the Dutch forum m8, lotta info on that one too :P

@ Biddle: thanx m8, can't wait to really start the "transofrmation" of the Polo, hopefully it won't take too long a time before that happens, my hands are allready itching! :D

If I post the pics here, then you'll see them and I'm betting Wouter is gonna see them too, which means that the entire Dutch Polo Forum will get to see them, so that will have to wait m8
