I think it'll be something thats controlled by VAG-COM though

That only works for Mk4's with the old style dash whereby you can change it to show the RPM by switching on/off ignition etc. It doesn't works for Newer Mk4's, Mk5's nor Mk6's.... It'd be cool if it did tho!

There is a way that you can change it with a vag-com tho! I've seen a pictures somewhere of a 9N polo with the RPM on it. It's was a pic taken with someone's phone. dunno where i saw it now tho......
