Mk5 6n2 - £235 (Evo)
Mk5 6n2 - £480 (FK Highsports)
Mk5 6n2 - £605 (FK Konigsports)
Mk5 6n2 - £670 (HnR)
Mk5 6n2 - £525 (Weitec)

Nice One, 500 quid then. Do these ones adjust the ride dampnes and level or just the level ?

Are these the ones to go for you reckon ? and work the cash ?

What are the advantages of coilovers rather than the 60/40 spring kit that philj sells which will lower to -60?

I asked and other than the obvious (being able to adjust height) it also improves the handling better?

I'm on KW Variant 1's, the ride is a little bit harder but not that much really. Handling is a lot better too.

The reason I didn't go for the V2's was because I couldn't warrant the extra money just to set the damping once and not touch it again.

for mine I'm looking at the Bilstein PSS (£669.99)

the Bilstein PSS9 kit is quite expensive (£1,094.49) though they are more adjustable

I've got the FK Konigsport Silverline X. They've been on now for 5 months and I can honestly say that they are by far hte finest modification to the car I have ever made :D

I have adjusted them a couple of times, started off on a quite a soft ride firmness (almost as soft as it would go) and have been winding it up tighter here and there over the months - I've found it drives better when the front end is tightened up quite a lot, seems to suit my driving style 8)

Bottom line is that I'm well chuffed. Get coilovers and you won't look back!

KW or H&R if you have the cash, but FK are a worthy substitute :)

Cheers
