Hi
I have a 2003 mod. There is no spare tire my car, and my dealer says that that is how it's supposed to be. Is he correct? I have a Kit instead(don't know the word for it, but it's for inflation of the tire)
Any comments?
Spare wheel??

Hello trollgutten, welcome to the forum
I had a full size spare (195/55/R15) in my 1.2 55bhp Polo. But my quest for some more speed (needed a bit more nippyness!
) and slightly better fuel economy led me to go for the genuine VAG tyre sealant replacement kit. I only get about 3 mpg more but I can't understand why it wasn't fitted standard anyway due to the engine size
Could you let us know what country you are from? Also, what spec, engine and size wheels your car has?
Thanks
Neil

Well, VW are known for there strange spec changes (bootlight, high gloss door trims etc etc). It seems you buy an SE and its still pot luck you'll get what you want on it, strange
Is your car bottom of the range? (dunno what spec levels you have in Norway? Comfortline etc?)
I wouldn't have thought the dealer had taken the wheel because the Tyre sealant kit actually costs more than the spare wheel itself!
