how to do window tinting????

Post by JoeG07 »

well basically i can't afford to pay £150 for my car to be proffesionally tinted, so attempted it myself. i can get the film on the glass perfect, no creases no bubbles no nothing, but having real trouble cutting it to the right size. any tips here? I was told to do it slightly bigger then trim it when its on, but this is easier said than done !!

i saw on ebay pre-cut films that are the perfect size you just need to fit them. They were fairly cheap too.

Put it on, smooth out to the ages then go round with a scalpel.

Worked when I did the load area on my truck, granted, it's coming off in the sun now it's been on a while but it keeps prying eyes off my tools.
