when I got mine the clutch had just been replaced. wasn't really expecting it to be so light. took alot of getting used to as all the other cars I've driven have had really heavy cluches in comparison.

I remember when the previous owner delivered the car to me and I got in it and the clutch was so heavy I thought it was knackered. 10 minutes later I couldn't keep the grin off my face after driving it. You do get used to it. It's worse when you don't drive for a couple of weeks, especially after using a different car. I will be changing mine in the future

just because the clutch is heavy it doesnt mean its on its way out, my polo gti had a heavy clutch from day 1, and i had it for 4 years with no trouble.
