'Smooooth' is definately the word here. Like that look alot.

Is it a push to latch in, push to open type mechanism on the filler cap

Or just get your finger nail in and pull

Cheers for all the comments guys, it's always good to know it's been worth the money.

@1der - The process of smoothing it from what he said was, grind out the bump, cut a bit of plastic to shape, plastic weld it in, use some nylon matting to cover it over then skim it with filler (I think).

@Randall - I might consider spacers, but the RXII's are deffo not going

@Silky V - He's done a very good job Silky yeah. I saw one of the cleaned.be cars at Ultimate Dubs with the fuel cap done as well and you could see the outline of the bit that was smoothed over whereas you can't with mine.

He isn't cheap but I don't mind paying the money for the quality I get.

And no I won't reveal any prices

Phil also had the filler cap smoothed on his gti from memory.

Personally, I really think the wheels let the look of the car down. With the amount of money you are prepared to throw at the car, I am really surprised you are not interested in wider wheels.
