Do not put fibreglass anywhere near your car. You will ruin it! The only filler I'll use on plastic is upol plas6. It specific bumper repair filler. Its black in colour and flexes when its set. It wont crack or sink (apparantly).

Personally to smooth in a splitter, i'd run a light line of plastic weld all round the gap, and on the inside of the bumper. The I'd use Pu seam sealer, followed by plastic filler. Personally i wouldnt do it though, cos i know i'd hit a curb resulting in the damage tom's suffered!

yeh i suppose well one day i could colour code without smoothing and do the mouldings! bit bumpy down this end of the country on the roads so i need some clearance anyway
