Mk6 buying guide...

hi guys,

I'm normally found over the in the GTi forum, but I'm looking to sell the Gti and go for a mk6 Tdi.

Was wondering if you could help me out in things to look for when buying? I'm thinking about the 1.4 or 19.9 Tdi. Does anyone know what miles and major servicing should be carried out?

what's your budget mate? servicing depends on whether the car has "longlife" servicing or not.

4-5k - It would have to be one of the earlier models.

I guess that limits you to a 1.4tdi? there's a 1.9tdi for 5.5 in the for sale section
