It's a very difficult thing to call these days, I had german fonted plates on the S2, and never had a problem, but the new ones I am getting for the polo will probably be pressed uk font ones, there is no point rocking the boat!

From a professional point of view, my opinion would be not to stick someone on for german fonts, but offer some words of wisdom that perhaps they draw unnecessary attention, personally I am more annoyed by the idiot range rover drivers who fly around with ridiculous spacing and illegally placed screwcovers to make words and the terrible fonts you see that can barely be read.

I ran german ones on my old mk2 golf with the d badge and the dash for 2 years and didn't get pulled over once.

Decided to go for pressed uk ones this time. Had no probems
