Got some nice news
Yesterday I got a phonecall, with the question if I had some time this wednesday (today), I asked what for? The answer -->
Today I got a visit from a reporter and a photographer of the biggest Dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf. They wanted an interview and some pics of me and my car for the sunday edition, for an article about people and there way of finding happiness, and this week they were looking for somebody who find happiness in his/her car.
Well enough with the crappy explanation of what the article will be about, MY MK4 IS GETTING IN THE BEST SELLING NATIONAL NEWSPAPER!!!
f*ckin' sweet
@ Eddie: how 'bout them apples?
Go buy yourself a Telegraaf this weekend m8, I gave the reporter the flyer for the Polo Club Holland meeting in Asten, hopefully he'll post it in the article too

I left the on-painted bumpers and grill etc. on, this since most of the interview was about me getting "satisfaction" (not in a sexual way thoughBiddle wrote:Nice one mate!!! Doesnt your car currently have non-painted bumpers? You should stick your old ones back on for photo's. Get some pictures of the article upWell Done Again

Here some pics of the interior at the moment:

Also did some work on my new subwoofer:
JBL GTO 1202D in a sealed box:

I didn't trust the "quality" of the box, so took the sub out, and as I suspected, no fibrefill in the box, and some tiny little wires to connect it

I filled the edges of the box with a new layer of kit, and loosely stacked the box with fibrefill:

Put the sub back in, and hooked it up on 10qmm wires:

Also put some "cloth-tape" on the inner edge of the sub beofre mounting it back, to make sure all is air-sealed, all in the name of dB's and sound quality

Planning to strip the last parts of the mk4 tomorrow, setting my alarmclock early in the morning to begin the works

Continued the stripping of the mk4 today, just finished, almost all is off right now, except for the windows, engine, rear bumper, rearlights, some parts for locking the doros and some door-rubbers (to keep moisture out sine it's still standing outside in the open air)

Looks sad doesn't it
seeing these pics really makes me wanna cry, it looks terrible right now, but I'm keeping myself together with the thought of the paintjob coming closer and closer

Took my lil' baby out to the doctor yesterday

There she will get her open-heart-surgery, takin' the engine out for the paintjob and the further moddin' of the engine
Also here is a scan of the article in the Dutch newspaper from last weekend

You probably can't read it, since it's Dutch, but it's my name and my mk4 on the pics, that's all that counts to me
(and yes, I had a long night before the day the picture was taken
