Anyone else lost that bit at the end of their handbrake!?

Post by TimGti »

:( Apparantly they always fall off in these and in Beetles too. Mines dissapeared and VW want like £10 for the whole handbrake surround...All I want is the end bit which is worth like 10p!

Typical.

Oh PS.

Does anyone know what other VW gear knobs will fit on the 9N. I was thinking like R32 or bettle sport ones etc? Just wondered if they are all the same fitment?

I said i refused to pay (cannot remember the price but was over £50) for a new handbrake cover when the same problem had happened to a friend so must obviously be a design fault!

Yeah 50 odd quid for the one with the leather bit around it or something the parts guy said. I have a plastic handbrake (Not quite sure what he meant by the leateher one, what polo is that in?) but anyway all I want is the bleedin end bit!

LOL

mine's loose. I'm thinking of getting a subtle cover from ebay just to neaten it up.

it's the crappest nastiest bit of the whole interior.
