Bird Turd Left Marks On Paint!!

Thught i would post it in here, get a quicker response. Yesterday a flock of seaguls decided to turd all over my windscreen and bonnet. After finally managing to clean it all off - there was loads and it was welded on! its left marks on the bonnet. Ive tried scratch x, autoglym SRP but nothing has worked! Any ideas??

try some flatting and polishing, that will most certainly get rid! i h8 bird c**p it eats the way under the paint if left too long

That pretty weird its still on there. A clay bar might work, if not you may need a machine polisher such as a Porter Clay

i know the feeling mate , a couple of weeks ago i ad the same thing was driving home ,next minute a thought the nazis had dropped a bomb on my car, front to back it was covered in brown s--t. as soon as i got home i washed it off only to find it has left marks allover the car. ive tried using all different things on it and even had the waterless valeting company round and even they cant shift it. Its really one thing after another.

Bird poo is acidic and quickly eat's into the laquer.

I've never successfully removed all traces of it. I have used an abrassive polish with my Porter Cable and it reduces it but i've never managed to rid it completely.

Haven't tried wet sanding however that may work well.

wet sanding will clear this tottally done this a few times on my mum and dads car and works a treat
