haha guys, especially paul and dino, you know me by now!

these LED sidelights are red, haha TO MATCH MY NEONS DINO!!!

so if you were woried about yours looking a little blue, paul, and would like Red, then please feel free to check ebay!

ok ok

guide!

so, firstly, the H7s,

if you can see this on your car, its a bit easier, but basically, after removing the weather cap, you'll notice that theres a two pronged lever on the body-work side of each light, if you pull this down until it clicks, the bulb socket will lift straight out.

looking like this:-

so, once you got this out, then simply tug the bulbs out of the socket, and replace, then do the above process in reverse, put the bulb back in, with the little metal tab at the top, and click the initial lever thingy back up,

so thats the H7s done,

should look something like this...

and give this result,

ok, so now sidelights...

bit more tricky, not for any reason other than they are in an awkward place...it was hard enough taking a picture of them!!!

but basically, these tabs on the sidelight socket squeeze inwards, and with a lot of fiddling about, and general faffing, they will come out,

my technique was to grab the sockets with my first set of knuckles (i think theyre knuckles - the joints nearest your finger nails) this gave me room to yank at them...

once theyre unleashed, just swap the bulbs, and clip the lil guys back in and your done.

I'd hope so it's a 1.2 with plenty of space in the engine bay. Was really easy to change mine when I had a 1.2 with out removing the bumper

Ive done it all on the 1.9 tdi, so i guess that gives me the least amount of space.

All without removing the bumper, altho you need tiny hands

Got the Xenons in and there amazing! Still can't get the bloody sidelights out tho! lol. Ive squeezed and wriggled and they wont budge. Is there any twist or just a good yank?

Two clips either side of the sidlight holder you should be squeezing. While squeezing them just pull that's it

I found it easy to press both sides and do a circular motion while pulling, vigorous mind
