Back to the garage it goes!

Post by Bryony84 »

Nothings ever simple!

After my gearbox rebuild a couple of weeks ago, I started noticing oil patches on the garage floor so took the car back to the garage to be checked and they confirmed that one of the oil seals (newly replaced) has gone, I'm assuming because someone bodged putting it in.

Its going back to the garage to get it fixed (on the warrenty thankfully) on Tuesday but it means I can't drive it to Cornwall tomorrow so I'm having to share driving with my boyfriend in his Mk 4 Golf GTI, still a dub, so not too bad but its not as fast as mine!

Don't worry, you'll be stuck in a long traffic que anyway I expect! At least you'll be surrounded by dubs. :)

Yeh, it has a bit - still, its not costing me anything - just annoying having to get it to the garage again.

Bf's Golf GTI is a nice car so I didn't really mind driving it - put it through its paces on some nice cornish country roads!
