GGGR EBAY!!!

Post by JoeG07 »

just payed £60 for "angel eyes" thinking id got a good bargain, what i actually received were some crap headlights identical to the ones i already have but with sh!t plastic rings in the middle. The rings dont even light up! Just sort of reflect the light abit! Bloody rip off!!

The description clearly states he doesn't accept returns but I think you should email him to check why he is listing them as angel eyes and showing a picture with them lit up if they are not in fact angel eye headlights.

However are you sure you have wired them in correctly or there isn't a bulb missing that would light up the 'rings'?

If your 100% sure that they don't work i would ask for a full refund including return postage.

hmm ill double check but didnt see any bulbs or additonal wires. however i did find it weird how there were a load of bullet connectors and stuff inside the lights. the picture does appear to have lit up rings.

The bullet connectors would be for the angel eye rings - would probs need to make a mini loom to connect into the sidelight feed hehe

Looks as though whoever's they were originally just bought some LED rings and glued them in then mate.

So they are Angel Eyes, just not off the shelf ones.

Hmmm. By the looks of that, the black wires are for the angel rings - looks as though they are wired correctly - do your sidelights work, becuase if the dont, you need to take the feed from the cable that connects to the sidelight bulb that isnt brown and crimp it onto the black wire connected to the grey (or whatever it is as long as its not the brown one) wire :) - on reading that it makes litlte sense.

basically you need the positive wire from the sidelights connected to the other black wire. The brown wire is the earth or -ve, so one of the black wires is connected right :)
