Looking to sell our Polo GTi - How much / any interest

Post by BETH1D »

Hi All
We are probably looking to sell our Polo Gti over the next few months and I'm interested to know what realistic price to aim for:

It is a 2000(w) car, 3 door in satin Silver..its got FVWSH and had 2 owners before us. Its done 75k miles and has all the standard stuff.
Alloys re-refurbished last year and it is totally standard

work done includes:
full new VW exhaust and cat (£700) jan 07, new disks and pads, new / replacement pedal box / clutch and cable....

Mot until Jan 08 and is taxed.....
We are looking at £4,500.......How does that sound?
It's up in the North East (whitley Bay area)
Cheers Will

i only got £4500 for mine, 50,000 miles, full vw history, x reg, new pads + discs, cam belt, w/pump + tensioners in jan 07. £4500 sounds a bit high

I'd def stick it in at £4500.

More desirable, rare cars seem to have a higher value the further north you go, as there are even less of them around. It's always the case
