Anyone o Tiscali broadband?
thats the one I think i have, its a G and it is awesome. In test you do get a great deal more range with G card and N router, but as you say for the 4x range you need to wait for 802.11n on client side. As far as standard confirmation goes, I have had N at my home in suffolk for ages when belkin first released the pre-n kit (routers and laptop cards) and it is perfect, and never drops and connection, and has great range. The fact it isnt confirmed shouldnt put anyone off? Apple ship it as standard internal components, and have done for about a year now.

No - the wireless would incorporate the modem, so you would have the desktop plugged in via ethernet cable to the wireless router, and then your parents can use the wirelessCymruPolo wrote:Ok, thanks. Is it possible to use a modem on say my desktop PC and have wireless running on my parents laptop at the same time?
