rear lights

Guys,

I bought White hella led lights, sprayed red tint, apart from the led section. the lights look heavy...but............

fog light is white, reverse is red.

i want 2 rewire it.

can anyone show me step by step guide or teach me how i can do it myself?

if i do rewire it, will it mess up if i ever put my original lights back on?

its an x reg polo 2000 model.

Get a pic of the front and back of the lights and i should be able to show you

ohh i had exactly the same problem with my lights! If i remember rightly both the fog light and reverse light are earthed up on both sides, but on the left hand side, the live from the fog lights is in and on the right hand side the live from the reverse is in, meaning when u whack it into reverse the fog comes on and vice versa. You need to find which wire your reverse light is. To do this i got one of those little needle things that u touch on the wire and it lights up when thers current. Just stick it in reverse and prod all the pins, then you'll know which one is your reversie cable. You then need to yank whatever is in that pin out and solder in the live from your reverse light which will probably be hanging free. Then do the same on the other. Hope this helps mate.
