Air con and climate control different things?

does the polo have an air con button? as climate control isnt air con is it? do polos have an extra button/setting?

If you have Climate Control, that acts as Air Con.

The only difference between the 2 is with climate you can program what temp you want the car and it'll keep itself at that temp, whereas you can't with Air Con

So climate control is air con? im about to buy one he says has air con. but its not got a seperete button as my clio 172 has for air con.. i have a climate digital control setting.. but an a.c button too?

Yep, there's no button on the Climate Control that says A/C

Most GTi's have full climate control.

Some of the earlier ones have just normal air-con.

Both have the ability to cool the air entering the cabin.

On the Climatronic display "ECON" means air con off. If it is blank then it is on. If it is on "AUTO" then it could be on or off
