my old next door neighbour had a Turkish Van cat and it used to sit on the edge of the sink and put its head under the running taps!

My cat does the tap thing. He's also been in the bath a few times. He's not a turkish van though - he's just a dumbass. He'll also eat everything - he licked curry powder off the floor the other day when I dropped some!
