60k Service.. anyone got a guide to whats done?

Having just bought a polo gti.. (well get pics up very shortly) its due a 60k, anyone tell me whats covered on this? and rough idea of price at vw?

its in the service part in the user manual. Tells you everything.

I think its an oil change, coolant change, brake fluid change, spark plug change and new filters.

Should cost under 200 quid - mine cost over 600 as I had to have the cambelt done aswell

I got a 60k service done recently from a VW/audi specialist.

They done:

oil change
pollen filter change
antifreeze change
screenwash
gearbox oil check and top up

It cost around Â£100.

I had all the above including a cambelt change at VW for Â£346

I got a major service done at Nationwide Autocentre in Swindon last week and it cost Â£178, got a Â£40 discount as I'm a member of AA (which only cost me Â£42!). they change all your fluids, plugs, filters, check everything and let you know what needs replacing. I only need a CV joint doing and he said apart from that the car was sound

You serious!? my cambelt alone cost Â£350!!!!! the car had the 70k service too (even tho its only in the 40xxxk's???)
