Adjusting camber and lights after lowering
Adjusting camber and lights after lowering
Now my car is lowered, I'm guessing I need to get both camber and headlights adjusted. Anyone any idea of the costs for these or the best kind of place to get it done?
It Depends how low you dropped the car, They can only adjust the toe on the rear and not the camber as on the polo's there a solid one piece axle, Where as the front depending on how low you go, the camber will need done yes, and any place with a good reputation will charge you beween £40 and £50
It cost me £47 - but thats from a guy who does lambos and things aswell as taxis, he's a top guy at it, and uses A lazer set up, not many of them around ! Also got a nice printout of everything adjusted and what it should be etc !
As for the lights i'm not to sure on how much these will be, cant see it being expensive from a local garage as it is just adjusting a screw and nothing else !

On the GTi, with the xenon headlights, it is a little more complex than that! I took mine to my local VW dealership to have them adjusted. Prices range from £0-30!Ian_R wrote:As for the lights i'm not to sure on how much these will be, cant see it being expensive from a local garage as it is just adjusting a screw and nothing else !
