Not a 'proper mod' as such, but a nice thing to have nevertheless!

Price is £17.00 + VAT from www.VAGParts.com

You store it in the cigarette lighter socket, which also keeps it charged!

I was wondering why they have a version for smokers and one for non smokers in their list (and they have the same price) for the Touareg an dfor the Phaeton, so maybe they give you that nice lamp in the non-smoker version and who knows, maybe the ashtrays are replaced with coin-holders or sth. like that...

cheers mate, thought it may make a nice touch to my interior, always useful to have a tourch at hand, to either find something u may of dropped on the floor, or blind someone who is really pissing u off! n if they come and start, i will get me maglite out of the glove box!

I found it's a little bit too long and causes problems with closing the cigarrette thingy.. anyone else notice this on the 9n's?

Why don't you wire in an additional power socket and mount it either in the glove box or on the centre console.

On my 9N I know that the lid doesn't close correctly.. the torch is too tall.
