Well i think if we could get the part number, we could order one, swap it over and enable it in the ecu. The only difficult bit would be to get the security done, so would probably need a VW dealer to set the dash to the car.

look i just found this. only problem its in kph, and revs only go up to 6000!

hold on... but that guy is using a Golf GTI wheel with muti-function wheel.... may be we can do that on our polo too...

yeh i was gonna do that add on too, its very very easy.

Get the wheel, disconnect the battery, take off old wheel (be careful of the airbag connectors), put on new wheel, plug in battery and reset airbag light with vagcom. You use the same airbag you already have.

Its difficult to find a new wheel though, I almost won one on ebay a few weeks ago, but just missed out :(

But i'm using this stereo system can i use the Golf GTI wheel with muti-buttons?

Using the buttons is quite difficult. You have to find the right wires and then get the golf stereo system. I think the one he has is a dud. Get the wheel without the buttons.

Well I found out I would need new clocks, and steering column with a new lock. Then I would need to replace all locks in car, reprogram new key and then get new clocks set to the car and to the right mileage and not a single VW garage, even non-official ones would want to do it!

not worth the hassle and the money! I though bout it few months ago! And came to the same conclusion! :)
