DriveShaft and Warped Clutch ?

Post by sorted »

Hello

Had the Gearbox out the car, had it rebuilt. While i was talking it out - i noticed the driver side drive shaft has been rubbing on the chassis of the polo - so it has to be raised. After getting the gearbox back in - took it a run and it seems as if the clutch is warped - dead juddery when im pulling away (tested it by using no gas as well - and was mega juddery!!)

Anyone experience any of the two above ?

Just looking for some help ....

Neildo.

I sometimes get this, but it's only since i've changed my pedal box. The guy has been back to slacken somthing off and put some grease on a piston, but it's still there. It's worse when pulling off in 1st gear. I've changed my clutch aswell, got a sachs clutch now.

Might sound daft, but have you tried adjusting the clutch cable, or is it hydraulic on the Gti's ?
