Welcome to the joys of being lowered  If you think you got it worst every time I back out from my driveway my splitter scraps and on the odd occasion the splitter has even pop out of the bumper  I normally have to kick the splitter back into the bumper

it looks lower mainly cos of the coded splitter, looks nice mind

its strange how people have differrent issues, my friends catchs things on a 40mm drop but mine doesnt catch at 80mm

think it depends on how u drive the bumps lol

I managed to get over some lowish speed bumps going into Port Solent Marina at lunch today, but only because I went very very slowly!!!

The joys Of Being Lowered, Either accept being low means a few scrubbages or slow driving, or raise it and drive normal, i prefer low, as that is the way All VW's should be lol, Lower the better, altho at the moment i have found the perfect handling Height with just me in the car, and enjoying it to much to go lower, Will do for show season lol,

But your gonna have to get used to driving slow over speed bumps and things, and also at angles, thats the best way to concor them lol

Do it - if you look at my sig pic and then at the new pic - it makes so much difference!

All it involves it a power sander, 2 cans of red paint and 2 of laquer from VW!

The splitter is a barsteward to get out tho - lots of nasty little plastic clips!

Looking good Bryony, I'd say it's somewhere between -50mm and -60mm going by my car as a comparison.

The thing I hate is catching the trye on the plastic arch lining when cornering fast, like I did last night.

What a lovely noise it makes

Wow, that looks so much better! Does look rather low aswell! Looks similar to the drop i have on mine! Just give itt ime and you'll get used to it.

Only the other day i pulled a quarter of my splitter off reversing onto a mates driveway! :x Luckily it managed to be popped back in! Also noticed that after being lowered for quite some time now, that although i dont get any scrubbing, that all the constant bumps i do go over, my front passenger tyre has gradually worn a hole the size of a 10p in my black plastic lining in the arch! :?

Oh well!

Lucky you mate, my tyres have rubbed away the inner lining about the size of your hand  on both sites!!!! I dont worry about the front, its the rear that does my head in!!! 1 person in the back = a new set of tyres looming every little bump i hit! :(

wow that is very low at the front especially although as gti lass said, it could be just the coded splitter! does look good tho!
i haven't had too much problems with catching my splitter on things......................until i broke it and now it catches in a few places. i made an old lady jump on tuesday as i came out of a car park, it scraped right next to her!
my door catches the ground ocasionally and it even got stuck in the mud once which i think may have bent the door slightly
andi have holes in both my front arches where i'm down 70mm, don't catch it that often anymore as the tyres have worn away anything scrubbing points :D

I made the mistake of trying to get into my garage which has a big speed bump type thing by the door, got stuck as I was going over and my cat was scraping on the concrete, had to inch out again very slowly!!
