You can hardly call this a hot tip, can you:

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tip him for the title, he's first in the championship
Its normally the director that chooses the camera that missing most of the action. I say put Hamilton in a mediocre car and see what happens. F1 isn't what it used to be, too many rules and regulations without enough action or overtaking on the track. I wasn't around to watch it this weekend. MotoGP is more fun to watch I think.Redline wrote:...they both just rattle off the same cliched stuff every race, and fail to pick up on half of what happens.
exactly, it's all these random interviews with people saying "I rate Hamilton". blah blah blah we can see that for ourselves! no-one bothers to stick their neck out in F1 anymore....Redline wrote:I'd quite happily punch James Allen. To be fair Martin Brundle's commentary isn't anything special either, they both just rattle off the same cliched stuff every race, and fail to pick up on half of what happens. If you've ever seen the MotoGP coverage on Eurosport, that's real commentary.
Hamilton doing so well isn't that big a shock as the media are making out. He's been coached and funded by McLaren for the best part of a decade. Plus he's also in what is clearly the best car out there. However what is impressive is how it's Alonso that seems to be suffering under the pressure more from having to compete with his team mate.
Sato was probably my driver of the day yesterday, he's a proper racer.
No, by not picking up on stuff I meant things that were in fact clearly happening on screen but neither Allen nor Brundle paid any attention to, as they were too busy prattling on about something completely random. For example Massa passing Alonso early on, they both completely missed that.SteveB wrote:Its normally the director that chooses the camera that missing most of the action. completely agree, I just love the way these famous people sit on the fence and then they come out of the woodwork to state the obvious!Dee-vub wrote:I cant believe there are some of you putting hamilton down!
Now i am scottish and i fuckin hate english media! But this boy is the most exciting prospect in god knows how long!!!!!!!!! Wayne rooney??? who? Hamilton is far more talented than the likes!
Someone said put him in a mediocre car?? Yeh and so what? yeh he wont win, but can you remember him making ONE mistake one mistake over the course of the whole weekend???????? NO! It takes a f*****g lot for a 22 year old to cope under immense pressure like that! The double world champion has been an absolute shambl;es in recent weeks!
And what you mean hamilton bores you?? He's a cultured racer!! He's been brought up to appreciate the values of fighting for a dream.....and he's done it! For his age, he is an amazing driver! That is why everyone is saying he is so 'wonderful'! Going back to wayne rooney, i can remember when evveryone was sayin he was the next pele!!!! Palease!!
no i totally understand where your coming from mate.....but the same could be said for any driver! Stick them in a mediocre car and they'd be in a very similar situation!SteveB wrote:That was me. I wasn't putting him down. I meant I want to see what he can do in a mediocre car. We've seen how well he can do in a top car, and he makes it look easy.Dee-vub wrote:Someone said put him in a mediocre car?? Yeh and so what? yeh he wont win...
