It's great, really. Even for John Simm's acting (he was really good in the last two episodes) as the Master.

You can't beat a bit of cheesy Sci-fi to make you feel young and forget the world's current troubles (driving a flaming car into an airport, WTF, is it Evel Knievel).

Also, did anyone catch any of the blatant references to other films?

1) The funeral pyre from the Return of the Jedi for the Master
2) The ring, as seen on Flash Gordon

Who'd have thought that Captain Gay was the Face of Boe? Was nice how they tied it in.

I also can't wait until the Christmas special. Who'd have thought that the Tardis caused the sinking of the Titanic :lol:
