What a long day of travelling... done about a 600 mile trip to pick up a beauty... Was cared before me by a VW enthusiast, who has had to let it go to fund his mk1 golf restoration project.
The car's silver and has both climate control AND leather!!!
It's a proper beauty, engine is ticking over like from new, and it handles amazingly as it's on FK highsports :)...
Will post some pics up tomorrow when I get the chance to give it a clean it deserves.

If only I could afford to get petrol to get there! This car has just drained every penny out of me.. I now have only 5 pounds to my name. It didnt help that the policy from original car wouldnt let me transfer this car onto it, so I had to buy a brand new policy, when I had 3 months remaining on the old one.

Ack! That sounds gay. Insurance does my head in, and that's why I'm waiting till the policy on the Polo runs out, when I insure my scirocco.
