Clutch

Post by Rmachines »

Hi, i have a new clutch kit ready for my car coz i got it cheep, its not slipping yet but i think its life span is somewhat limited.

Does any one know if its a particularly big job? Or how it compares to an escort XR3i CVH engine? lol Any special tools required?

cheers :)

well if ur like me and havent got any specialist tools in particular and are jus gona jack it up its abit awkward. I had to change my gearbox which u will obviously have to take out so u can change the clutch and it was a big pain lol but im nowt special wit cars n i did it. I fink the only tool i had to buy was a 12 sided allen key for the driveshafts.
hope thats kind of helpful lol :D
