i'm looking to fit some Fk Highsport coilovers to my 9n polo. Bit unsure how to so was just wondering if anyone has any fitting instructions to help me out?
It took me about 7 hours in total because the struts were seized into their clamp! It's not that technical but I think some special tools are needed to remove the top mounts, or you can take the whole lot off and sort the top mounts out once they're off the car.
Spring compressors are also needed for the rear springs, as I found out.
one of them jobs of you either know or you dont!
you definatly need to be taugh on how to fit suspension componenets. best bet is to get someone to do it who knows exactly what they doing.
need to use spring clamps and fronts can be very aukward getting out

Just pay someone to do it and go to work for the day & earn the cash to pay them rather than spending a whole day swearing on your driveway!
cheers for the replies. Not sure what i'm guna do yet, got a mate who can fit them jst need some instructions so probably do that. if not wheres the best place 2 get them fitted properly.
hmmm yeh that vagtech place sounds pretty good, might give them a call and see what they say. does any1 by any chance know what the maximum i can lower my 9n is? wana b slammed 2 the deck haha
