The picture in my sig might be ok. Those are 17inch wolfraces. You'll get a bit of flack for having 17's but if they suit the style of ur car they should look good!! And yes they do rub on full lock and mine isnt lowered coz i live in an inbred village only accessible by bumpy country lanes! Go for it m8, be a bit different!

as he said befor if u put 17's on a polo you might get a bit of stick for it as it makes it look like a 4x4. and yes you can get 18's on a polo. i dont know if he had any trouble but i did see a black polo with 18's on it on ebay a little while ago. cant find it on there now tho. i have 15's on mine and think they look nice but it needs lowering a bit more at the front and maybe thinking of upgrading to 16's when i get the money. only problem is the alloys i have i dont think they make n e more so doubt i'll be able to get them.

Its rare to find a polo on big rims that look good. They look much better on 15s and lowered to the deck. Myns on 15s and lowered 100mm, the tyres are 195/55/15s which make the tyres scrub the inner arch when you hit a small ditch (or even a flush drain cover actually) but you got 2 drop it big time to get it lookin mean

17s will rub on the sides with standard springs and also the ride is completly messed up, the car feels jittery on the motorway and you feel a lot more of the bumps because the profile tyres, also the speedo underclocks!

When I bought my valver it had 17s on it with standard suspension and looked like a remote control car (quite out of proportion). The first thing i did was referb the standard valver wheels and put them straight back on, but your not me.

Personally i think that polos ride so high that nothing would look brilliant unless lowered.

Bed time me thinks!
