Would the DVLA tell us by sending them a simple email or is it a lot more complicated than that? Be interesting to see how many were made and how many are left

yeah i've seen that on auto trader, the place is called germania isnt it.

yeh thats the one, I wud've strongly considered it if it wasn't for the milage too. so i bought it in black with 32k, he gave me 4 brand new tyres and all 4 alloys refurbed, got a well good deal! i'm realy gutted i didn't wait for a 3 door to come about tho :(

we're not far away then, that place is 16 miles according to autotrader :D

im after a 3dr, dont often have people in the back so i've got no need for the extra doors!

i've found a car i wanna look at just need to convince someone to drive me to ipswich to see it............ lol

As far as I'm aware VOSA only applies to UK vehicles, so the 3497 would be the number of UK cars affected by the recall.
you aint wrong 3497 would be the total amount of gtis in the uk not sure if my pedal box has been done :? have to pop down to vw tomorrow to check. but aint got no problems with the clutch.

Mine hasn't been done either, I don't think there's anything wrong with it though, what are the signs of a dodgy pedal box?

well i got one :D and i bloomin love it!

heres some pics, i know its not particularly clean or a very scenic place for pics but i've been pretty busy this week so it'll have to do for now :p

mods so far are the refurbed alloys, lowered 30mm and german style plates all done by previous owner and i fitted a dvd headunit a couple of nights back, next step are some tints and thats about it for now :D

Don't forget the aerial and rear badge too! looks like a keeper, might see you around i'm in bristol time to time, welcome to the club!

yeah im well pleased with it, went to ipswich to get it! bout 230 miles each way! are there many south west meets?
