195 / 45 / 15" Troublesome Buggers !

Post by PoloPower »

Hey

I seam to use a set of front tyres every 3 months shortly followed by my wheel bearings on the front ..

My Car handles so well and i just dont want to give that up .

Iff i was to wack some 13" BBS on would it understear ??

Im real hard all round and slightly dropped . Found i understeard on a set of standard steelys when i got the car .

Basically killed the roll in my car at the min .

Is the sole reason people dont say use 15" because of the shear speed you shread tyres and wheel bearings ?

Yes they do rub .. Iff you dont roll your arches ...

They fit the arches perfectly however .. Look so sweet .

Not quite as low down as you guys on the 13" i have no problem with speed bumps though ... Ramps at garages though. gah .

Would putting some little 13" BBS's on change my car ?

Better ? Wose ?

I used to have 15" Ats cups on my g40 lowered 40mm, and handling was shocking.

I usually run mine on standard 13" bbs's and 13" deep dish steelies for shows. They may not have as much grip as the 15's, but atleast you know exactly what the car is doing underneath you!

Ahhh i know what you mean about being unable to feel the road .

I just dont want to loose all that grip !

Could do with a bit of a smoother ride though i must say .

i've got set of 15x7's with 195 45 15 tyres handles alright due to lower strut but cos of standard shocks bounces like hell when cornering hard.
