Yay finally cleared my £300 debt with a nice £1200+ pay cheque this month
Only downside is I've still to get my bodywork done which will be at least £600. Anyway I've been making little progress. Cleaned the throttle body as it was total manky!

Got my B&M short shifter too. It was a total bastard to fit at points with lots of swearing. Had to order new pins and stuff as orignal ones failed. Taking off all the trim and accessing really awkward hidden screws was very time consuming. Car feels more sporty though. Have to get used to it now!
New short shifter:

Interior stripped and shifter fitted:

Just about to order heaps of new parts from VAG, and I've got a new rear badging scheme on the way. I'll keep you posted
Did a little pointer thread on fitting the Short Shifter: http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... 984#243984

I've had my JVC a year now. It's a big improvement just through the standard speakers. Alpine are slightly better for sound quality but they look crap and JVC are very good. I did consider the double DIN version of this headunit but ended up with the single because it was cheaper, less attractive to thieves, plus I like the storage slot underneath
