Post by mwarner87 »

just wondering what the standard speakers were?

and what sizes i would need to buy?

am thinking of replacing them all with infinity speakers and maybe adding 6x9's into the parcel shelf!!

I wouldn't bother with 6x9's to be honest mate.

Alex, it's all about having 300w RMS to EACH front mid

Before upgrading your speakers try putting in a decent headunit. I put in a kenwood headunit (replaced the standard VW job) and even with standard speakers, it goes as loud as you could possibly want without breaking up. The only thing lacking is proper bass which I'd need a sub to fix but can't afford it just now. 6x9's won't do nothing for you on their own.
